The choices were once limited to just powder boxes and liquid detergent bottles. Now we have it in water soluble, single-dose pods or capsules with the 3 in 1 function: detergent + softener + stain remover. How convenient! it removes the guesswork of how much powder or liquid to pour for each load plus it is said to be 10x more powerful than regular detergents.

Your hands must be completely dry when handling the capsules as they might dissolve quickly. A single capsule is usually good enough for a regular load of laundry (5 kg). The capsule must be added to the empty drum before throwing in the clothes. These capsules can be used for both top load and front load washers.

Scrub.sg’s 3 in 1 laundry capsules work great in removing everyday grime and stains (coffee, milo), in delivering a fresh clean scent without being overpowering and somehow my clothes look a bit brighter too. This also fits the bill. It has a light, floral scent and a little goes a long way. I just find it to be too sticky 😛 probably because it is super duper concentrated. The liquid detergent is gentle on the skin and nose so it’s ideal for hand washing too. It has a built-in stain remover hence its cost-efficient.

ULTRA-CLEAN OXI POWDER

I have yet to deal with a seriously dirty laundry so I cannot fully attest if this one truly has a major stain-removing power. I am using this for my whites and I’m very happy with the results. I feel like my T-Shirts look brand new once again. It is chlorine-free which explains its neutral scent. I especially appreciate that this oxi powder is versatile, can be used for both white & colored fabrics hence there is no need to buy separate anti-stain products.

CLEAN & TIDY WASHING POWDER

I admit there was no reason for me to buy their washing powder yet because I already love using the capsule and liquid detergent counterparts. Again, packaging 😀

This is just too pink to ignore. I mainly use this to hand wash our kitchen towels and to clean the sink. It is not too soapy but I can tell it is concentrated and really pulls away dirt and grease. This will be my go-to laundry saver when the capsule and liquid detergents are out. 🙂

SOFT & FRAGRANT FABRIC SOFTENER

Saving the best for last because she is my favorite. It’s infused with rose but somehow the scent reminds me of Comfort’s Ultra Pure Fabric Conditioner. If only the scent could linger for a few days or forever. It’s a quintessential fabric softener smell, though slightly gentle. Beyond the fragrance, this also softens my clothes after each wash.
